Thanks for all your suggestions guys!
I chose a name among the many, and the new site has been registered. It’s only waiting to be filled with content right now.
I’ll post the link here as soon as it’s ready, so just hang tight!
This is yet another news post. Exciting news, folks. 😀
On the light of recent events, and based on the feedback of you all, I decided that this website needs some winds of change to blow onto it.
Crusang’s Den is five years old now, while it’s still working pretty much structurally, it’s pretty outdated in many aspects, so I decided to remodernize it completely, by taking it and turning it into a whole new thing.
As we speak, I’m designing a new hentai website that will be pretty similar to the Den, but soooo much more better in terms of appeareance, ease of use, functionalities and so on!
I also plan on focusing on a few things rather than being a jack of all trades, the new website will have a few focal points the entire structure will revolve around.
It won’t be the place where you’ll find 100% of the best hentai around, some things won’t be posted anymore in respect to artists, while others in respect to other great hentai sites out there.
Also, I think that focusing on specific things which I’m good at will make the site waaay better than it is right now. So bear with me, guys! 😉
By the way, I was also thinking of hosting it onto a complete different domain, and shut off this one after a few months.
As harsh as it sounds, I want to make a full restart to make this new site as cleaner and faster as ever. (It’ll require some time to refill it with content, but that means the content itself will all be updated too. 😉 )
About this, there’s one thing I’d like to ask you all:
I’m really bad with names, so… do you have some suggestions on how I should call this new site?
I seriously mean it, hit me up at my email crusangden (at) gmail (dot) com with your suggestions, folks!
What I mean by “functional name”:
1) The name mustn’t be too long, and it should be easy to remember.
2) The name shouldn’t be picked for any other sites, as I’d like to register a .com domain with it, and register social media accounts with it as well.
The one who thinks of the best and more functional name will get 1 month of uploaded.net premium membership from yours truly. 😉
Anyway, I’ve had some free time today, and I spent the whole morning and afternoon designing this new site, gotta say I haven’t been this excited in ages!
Still, it’ll take some time to finish it ’cause my job (which I love to death!) is taking more and more of my free time, but I definitely look forward to finish this whole new site and make it public. 😀
Talk to you soon, and thanks for reading!
some of you guys made me notice that the malware was gone on the homepag,e but still persisted in other pages, so I ran a scan on the site and found about 200 yet infected pages.
After a few tweaks and another scans, the site results 100% clean (scanned about 700 pages, found no suspicious codes in it).
I sent the report to Google, so they should lift the warning soon if they haven’t already, I’ll run another scan tomorrow and in the following days to assure that the malwares are completely cleansed from the server.
After a couple of days of panicking and solution searching, it seems I managed to remove the malware and enforce the protections of the site.
I also ran a security check and it seems everything’s OK.
Jokes aside, I’d still recommend to pay attention while browsing this site for a few days. Also, if your browser still sees malwares here, remember to clear its cache!
And with that, I leave you boys and gals once again, have a nice day.
Hey guys, Crusang here, there’s something I want to tell you about for the purpose of security:
It seems like in the earlier days, the WordPress team discovered a huge flaw in their code that translated in a security threat on a large scale of blogs using their CMS software.
They noticed this as thousands of wordpress blogs were hacked and infected with malwares, and advised all wordpress site administrators to update to the latest version of wordpress before their sites get hacked. Unfortunately I’m afraid Crusang’s Den is one of those sites that got hacked before the update was released, as some of you reported that they found malwares on the site, thing which never happen before (and this site has been around for years). :S
I proceedeed to update WordPress ASAP, but I’m not sure if malwares are still around on the site, so I would ask you two things:
#1 – Please be careful as you browse the site during these crazy days, until this situation gets sorted out, I’d suggest you to visit Crusang’s Den ONLY on computers with an up-to-date antivirus.
#2 – If you’re visiting from an antivirus-equipped computer and you’re safe, could you please report down here if your antivirus/browsers still reports malwares?
Sorry for the situation guys. Unfortunately, this wasn’t brought by me but by WordPress’s mistake. Sigh.
I’m really considering opening a whole new website and hard reset this whole thing, it’s getting too messy in here!
Thank you for your understanding, and goodbye for now. Gonna update you with some news soon.
What a wonderful League of Hentai. *ç* <3
Am I dead…?? Is this what the gates of heaven look like? *ç*
By the way, a little off topic note:
I contacted support, and it seems like the virus problem wiht uploaded.net’s link is indeed caused a false positive virus flagging.
Here’s the answer I recieved from uploaded.net Support:
“Thank you very much for your feedback. We have had some reports of this already in the past and are currently looking into what might be causing these false flags. I can assure you, however, that we do not touch your files or attach any viruses to them.”
So it is officially safe to download stuff from uploaded.net, if firefox doesn’t allow you to do that, I’d suggest you to use a download manager!
I heard some of you guys couldn’t download lately because Firefox/Chrome found viruses in the uploaded.net download links, so I tried to download something myself, and at my surpirse, I’ve got a virus report from Firefox too. The strange thing is that when I downloaded the same file from the Rapidgator mirror, there were instead no viruses on it.
This leads me to the conclusion (whihc I initially thought) that the virus is clearly not in my hentai archives, but into uploaded.net’s download servers.
To think about it, the RAR archives I upload are password encrypted, so they cannot be edited by third-parties in any way.
Also, they mostly contain pictures only, and as far as my knowledge goes, I know that a non-executable/non-installable file (like a picture file) cannot contain a virus.
Yet, it is possible that uploaded’s download links will download a hidden autoexecutable virus file ALONG with my RAR archive. I’m sorry about the situation guys, especially for those of you who’ve got a premium account right now. I guess it’s not a problem with my links in particular, but with many of the links of all the people using this service. I’ll contact uploaded myself and see what’s the cause of this problem with them! What I’d suggest you to do in the meantime is:
1) Contact Uploaded.net’s support yourself and let those guys know of what’s going up. The more do this, the merrier.
2) Use the Rapidgator mirror for now, if possible.
3) Keep downloading from uploaded.net using add-ons like jDownloader/DownThemAll, AND make sure that you’ve got a good antivirus software installed on your PC, so that when the download gets completed the antivirus will take care of eventual hidden viruses.
